The London musician is no stranger to Bowie comparisons, and this track feels like it could have been a product of the singer’s late-70s ‘Berlin era’. Minimalist and ambient, Gravity Lies is an intriguing snippet of Marlin’s second LP, and religion-challenging lyrics like ‘heaven knows, but I don’t’ are pretty much guaranteed to make you stop and think for a moment.
