FLAUNT make genre-defying and layered alternative music that you need to hear

‘We wanted to make an album that was reminiscent of what radio used to sound like…’

The brainchild of Justin Jennings and Joseph Vitterito, FLAUNT‘S new album Rave Noir is a unique creation that defies specific titles and genre trappings. One song does not sound like the next, so it is difficult to nail down the audience it aims for, but that sort of ambition only means that it’s got the potential to be enjoyed by anyone.

They’ve decided to mix things up a little

Where FLAUNT‘s previous album CODON was mainly focused on instrumental turntablism, their Rave Noir leans heavier on the vocals and the guitars. New single I Don’t Wanna Fall Asleep is very ‘Rock and Roll’, but with some added layers from a few other genres thrown in there too.

They’re certainly being noticed

FLAUNT earned an Independent Music Award for 2014 New Discovery Artist, while New Music Weekly nominated FLAUNT for three New Music Awards (Group of the Year, New Hot AC Artist and Favorite Crossover Artist). In its first week out, ‘Have I Made My Point’ was the # 1 Most Added on both the National Radio Hits and New Music Weekly AC Charts, too. All of this adds up to something worth paying attention to, and, in the hope that you will continue to support great music, we hope that you take our advice and give the impressive FLAUNT a spin.
