The BBC Have Just Unveiled Their Sound of 2017 Longlist

It’s a pretty solid list this year

It’s that time of year again. The BBC Music Sound of 2017 longlist has just been unveiled, and we think it’s the strongest it’s been for years. In case you can’t remember, here’s how the Sound of 2017 competition works: the BBC asked 170 music industry experts to name their three favourite new acts, and the 15 acts with the most votes made it on to the longlist.

The top five will be revealed in January on BBC Radio 1, with the BBC Music Sound Of 2017 winner announced on Friday 6th January on Clara Amfo‘s show. Pretty exciting, huh? In the meantime, here’s the full longlist:
